Even before Wesley and I met in person, we had spoken on the phone three times.

The first thing I did was to offer my sincere apologies. When we met, I apologized again in person.

I acknowledged that there was beef between us. We had not spoken in months, and had blocked each other on social media. We both believed the worst about each other.

However, the matter at hand was that someone was exploiting this to extort both of us.

Wesley told me that the allegations on the “Uncovering Wesley” website were false. He claimed that the supposed text conversations between him and Russell never happened - and that all the screenshots were fabricated. As proof of this, he showed me screenshots of actual conversations he had had with Russell (or “JJ”) in their full context. He also played several video and audio recordings of his calls with Russell. I did the same in return.

He reacted with shock and incredulity when he heard the voice notes of the threats to Russell. These were supposed to be from the thugs that Wesley had hired. But that simply never happened. Nor did the alleged burglary incident a year prior.

I left the meeting with no doubt at all that Russell had presented me with a sob story about how he was the innocent victim of Wesley’s crimes. He tugged at my heartstrings with his emotive pleas, and then enlisted my help in a project to bring Wesley to justice. He tried to get me to provide funds for the purchase of supposed evidence that could place Wesley in legal trouble. When that failed, he created an urgent situation - once again involving a pursuit from violent thugs. This proved to be what he needed to get me over the line.

I sent him £30,000 because I thought this was the only way to stop Wesley from threatening both his safety and mine.

However, Russell was also in touch with Wesley the entire time, claiming that I was behind a malicious attack on his reputation - and attempted to get Wesley to pay him $35,000 to expose me.

This implies that the contents of the ‘Uncovering Wesley’ website (concerning Wesley’s crypto scam and subsequent burglary of Russell’s home) were completely made up by Russell. The ‘evidence’ provided on that website was fabricated and/or forged.

The following audio clips clearly show the two different stories that Russell was telling to each of us:
